Amazon best-selling author CK Van Dam is a daughter of the Dakota prairies.

CK Van Dam writes historical novels about the strong women who built our nation and our world. Her first novel, Proving Her Claim, received two Spur Awards from Western Writers of America. Lone Tree Claim and Medicine Creek Claim are the second and third in her series, On the Dakota Frontier.
