I’ll be logging lots of road miles this month, with author and book events every week.
Saturday, June 6 ~ Paws & Pours, a fundraiser for Almost Home Canine Rescue, at Remedy Brewing in Sioux Falls. Stop by from 2 pm to 6 pm. Meet some adorable, adoptable dogs and support AHCR’s important work.
Wednesday, June 10 ~ I’ll be in Geddes, SD, for the Red Hat Ladies meeting. Can’t wait to talk about my favorite subject: How Women Tamed the Frontier. Then it’s on to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
June 11-13 ~ Wild Deadwood Reads, one of my favorite events, is happening in – you guessed it – Deadwood, SD. Lots of books, book talk, and authors. The Book Fair is on Saturday, June 13, from 9:30 to 3:30. Stop by if you’re in the Black Hills.
June 17-20 ~ Western Writers of America’s annual conference. This year it’s in St. Louis. I’ll be accepting a Finalist Award for Iron Horse Claim. WWA’s Spur Awards are the gold standard for western writers!
Saturday, June 27 ~ Scavenger Days in Chamberlain. I’ll be joining the folks at the Old West Trading Post from 10 am – 4 pm.
As always, I’ll be packing books for signing and for sale at all the book events. I hope to see you during my travels.
